flu booster

today we went to the pediatrician for finleys flu booster shot....

it was a very quick visit~

they checked her vitals....

and weighed her....

she is now up to 18 lbs 14oz!

such a big girl!

then it was shot time.....

she flinched....but not even a peep came out of her mouth! no tears! no fussing!

she just looked at the sweet nurse like, "hey, what did you just do?"

and that was it!

we were done!

she even got a cute little sticker that says "im a junior flu fighter"

a cute picture of her today taking her nap....all curled up in the corner of her bed! with her legs under her, one hand on her teether and the other with her thumb in her mouth! isnt she just the most precious little girl E>V>E>R!

we are spending thanksgiving together, as a family of 3.

i am actually very excited about this! finleys first thanksgiving, and the first time that we have cooked and stayed home and been together, just us. we usually are going to familys and arent in charge of anything but HELPING to cook....

i have to work tues, wed and thurs (12 hour night shifts), matt has to work wed and friday night....my family is all in FL and matts family is all going to his brothers house in arkansas....we unfortunately cant go because of our work schedules...

so we are going to cook thanksgiving dinner! at home! just us! for the first time ever! i bought a 13 lb turkey that is thawing in the fridge now....keep your fingers crossed that this all works and we get an edible dinner!!!!;-)
