i look at these two sweet faces each day and smile......I AM SO LUCKY!

finley L.O.V.E.S our cats....they dont share the same feelings...never have. they have grown to "tolerate" her....but thats about it. i snapped these pictures the other day...
two of our cats were sound asleep on the couch and finley was over the moon to be able to be so close to them. she kept laying her head down by scooter and saying "hi kitty!"...as big as her smile was, you wold have thought i just told her she could have a pony!
after a few minutes of just saying "hi kitty"...she got brave and would reach out and pet scooter. more like touch her fur...then stand back and smile! (the second picture is of her doing this). scooter was less amused....she tolerated these "pets" a few times then decided shed had enough and reached out and swatted at finley as she was trying to pet her again. scooter missed and ended up just swatting at the air....
but boy oh boy....did it hurt finleys feelings! she came over to me, put her head in my lap, and started BAWLING! like her best friend had just told her she didnt want to be friends with her anymore! it was so sad....finely was so happy to be so close to the kitties, and scooter had ruined it! poor sweet finley! she wouldnt even go get her toy she had left on the floor in front of the couch where the cats were sleeping...she just pointed to it and looked at me and said "car?"...yep, i got it for her! scooter is such a meanie!;-)
