christmas

this Christmas I had to work ...
so we celebrated Christmas and Christmas eve a day early....
 "Christmas eve" we all ate dinner and opened our new CHRISTMAS PJS!

 

then we set out our cookies for santa...
and I put the girls up on the table next to their plates and cookies...
and they promptly ATE SANTAS COOKIES!?
I thought it was the funniest thing!!!
we put the girls to bed...and I went to work for the night...

when I came home,
we had Christmas morning!
and opened our BAZILLION GIFTS!
with 2 little ones...it took SEVERAL HOURS...and we had just opened the gifts from us...
so that's all we did for that day (because I had to go to bed to go back to work that night!)....

 

so the NEXT morning was "opening presents part 2!"
when I came home from work, we spent several hours opening all our boxes from out of town family! and then calling everyone and saying thank you and merry Christmas!
it was fun to spread chrismas over 2 days (and not really an option to do it any other way !)
 

 

we had a great Christmas (and it wasn't over, we also went to my sisters, post to come, and had christmas with matts family)....
but as always,
my 2 greatest gifts EVER....
these girls I get to call my daughters!
